Alexander Kostov is a composer and orchestrator for whom music works as image, movement, and narrative. Born in Plovdiv, he began his musical education relatively late, but quickly directed his path toward film, game, and applied music. He graduated in composition from the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, and later developed his professional signature between studio work, orchestration, and creating music for visual worlds.

In his projects, sound is not background, but part of the dramaturgy. He works on music for films, video games, commercials, and theatre productions, as well as as an orchestrator on large-scale game projects. Albums and soundtracks such as Songs of the Balkans, Lifeslide, Letters from Antarctica, Before I Forget, and Full of Life show a composer who knows how to connect orchestral culture, Balkan sensitivity, and contemporary cinematic sound.
