Maze Hunters do not sound like a band searching for light at any cost. Their music carries coldness, tension, and that kind of melancholy which does not reveal itself directly, but remains beneath the surface. Founded in 2018 in Sofia by musicians with Ukrainian and Moldovan roots, they bring a sense of post-socialist memory, inner nostalgia, and hidden rawness into a contemporary post-punk and shoegaze sound.

Their first single, Two Different Souls, marked the beginning of a world in which distance and emotional weight take the lead. After the EP I Am Not a Number and singles such as Blind, Youth, Things That I Need, and Another Day, the album Faceless brought together their DIY approach most clearly – recorded, mixed, and produced by the band themselves. The newer No Tomorrow, Dust, and the EP Parts expand this direction with even more darkness, space, and cinematic atmosphere.
