INFO
Milena Slavova did not enter Bulgarian rock as a “female voice,” but as a force that changed the temperature of the scene. From the mid-1980s onward, she carried punk energy, raspiness, defiance, and that feeling of freedom which, at the time, sounded almost dangerous. With Review and the album Milena + Review, she became the face of a generation that wanted to speak more sharply, more boldly, and without permission.
After that, Milena continued on her own – with songs such as Istina, Ha-ha, Nyamam nervi, Zashto, and Neam nervi, which remain part of the memory of Bulgarian rock. The albums Ha-ha, Skandalat, and Sold, created after her period in London, show an artist who is not afraid to change environments, while preserving the same raw energy. With Milena, a song has never been decoration – it is a position, a voice, and a collision.
