The voice of Vasil Garvanliev carries a journey that passes through the children’s stage, opera, and European pop music. Born in Strumica, he began singing at the age of seven, and even as a child stood out with Marionka and his participation in Zlatno Slaveyche. Later, life took him to the United States and Canada, where he worked with the Chicago Children’s Choir, studied at The Glenn Gould School in Toronto, and built a strong classical foundation as a baritone.

In pop music, Vasil brings that same vocal culture, but directs it toward a more personal and contemporary form of expression. As North Macedonia’s representative at Eurovision 2020 with You and Eurovision 2021 with Here I Stand, he establishes himself as an artist who does not separate technique from emotion.
