The inspiration behind the project comes from something deeply personal. The artist admits that he often finds it difficult to say “no” in certain situations. Rather than turning that into a serious topic, he chose to tell the story with humor, lightness, and infectious energy.

“I thought it would be fun to make a song in that direction - something light and enjoyable to listen to, where the word ‘no’ appears constantly, but without carrying a negative meaning,” shares GR!NGOD.

The result is NENENE - an energetic track with a memorable chorus, modern production, and the artist’s unmistakable style. With its infectious energy and instantly recognizable melody, the song naturally invites listeners to sing along from the very first play.

The music video was filmed in a single continuous take a creative decision that initially seemed almost impossible to pull off.

“When they first pitched the idea, my initial reaction was, ‘No, that's impossible.’ Maybe it was exactly because of that ‘no’ that I decided to do it. In the end, it turned out to be one of my favourite videos I've ever made,” the artist says.”
