ANMIP and IMPALA are organising an online event featuring Richard Phillips from Julie’s Bicycle, Ivan Shopov, Lili Geleva and representatives of Beglika Festival.
The first Climate Clinic Bulgaria will take place on October 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM — a practical online webinar dedicated to sustainability in the music industry. Organised by ANMIP and IMPALA, the event will be held on Zoom and led by Richard Phillips from Julie’s Bicycle.
The webinar is aimed at music producers, labels and industry teams, regardless of their level of experience with the topic. It will focus on concrete steps that can be incorporated into everyday work and the business benefits of more sustainable practices.
The programme will cover the basics of climate change and its relevance to the recording industry, as well as the impact of activities such as vinyl manufacturing, day-to-day operations and business travel. Particular attention will be given to sustainability in the Bulgarian context.
Representatives of Beglika Festival will share their experience of implementing sustainable practices. Ivan Shopov will present “Wings over Mountains” — a project with the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds that combines folk songs with sounds from the wildlife of the Eastern Rhodopes. Lili Geleva will discuss the role of nature and ecology in her work and her project “Pismo v butilka”.
The event will also feature a live demonstration of the IMPALA Carbon Calculator — a tool for measuring the carbon footprint of companies in the music sector.
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
