bropunzel is the musical world of Konstantin Valkov – an artist, vocalist, and songwriter who turns nostalgia for the 80s and 2000s into contemporary synth-pop with indie sensitivity. Born in Pleven in 1992, he began with the visual arts, graduated in scenography from NATFA, and later studied directing at Verona Accademia per l’Opera. This connection between image, stage, and voice is visible in the way bropunzel builds his songs – as small emotional films, not simply as pop singles.

Together with London-based producer SpaceCherry, he creates a project in which vulnerability, dance energy, and retro aesthetics work in one direction. Moon in Cancer, BOYZ, All My Bonez, and the album Bulgarian Not Barbarian shape a world for people who are not afraid to feel, to stand up for themselves, and to be colorful.
